About the author

I am a cyclist with 10 years of experience. In the years 2016–2024, I worked as an engineer at CERN in Switzerland – the largest laboratory in the world, where the LHC – Large Hadron Collider is located.

That’s why the mountains were in my backyard. And this is the time when my passion for climbing began to develop. In the seasons 2021–2023, I took part in 11 cycling events (single and multiple days). Among them, a very tough, Tour Des Stations EVEREST: 242 km, 11 climbs, and 8848 m elevation gain in one single day (in Switzerland). Another, Haute Route ALPS: 8 days, 950 km, and 22500 m elevation gain (in France and Italy). I climbed 150 mountain passes in 7 countries on 3 continents, as well as in Pyrenees, Dolomites, and Alps.

Including the most famous ones: Passo dello Stelvio, Passo di Gavia, Col du Pourtalet, Col du Tourmalet, Col du Sanetsch, Furkapass, Gotthardpass, Col du Galibier, Col Agnel, Col de l’Iseran, Alpe d’Huez, Colle del Nivolet, and many more.

Currently I am preparing for bike journey around the World – with the planned start in Spring 2025 from Krakow, Poland. I am also planning to set up a website and a YouTube channel about my cycling adventures.
